What you don't know won't kill you. What you do know will rot you from the inside out. :|
At some point in life uncertainty actually becomes a good thing, and you cling to the possibility that there's really something deeper in there, something more meaningful, something wonderful waiting just for you.
You hope to find that your doubts will be proven wrong, and your uncertainties washed away. You pray you haven't been living an illusion all this time, that your dreams are not founded on pitiful misinterpretations.
You wonder where your childish fantasies fit into the scheme of concrete jungles and bitter truths. You try to navigate through your thoughts, but words fail you. You look into your hope chest, only to find it filled with the remnants of a broken heart, the scraps of a torn soul.
You feel lost deep within you. You feel numb, or you think you feel numb, just so that the pain won't hit so hard where it hurts the most. You let out a heavy sigh. You cringe at what you have become.
You shed a tear for your lost dreams.
You shed a tear for your lost love.
