Basketball Lessons

Slam Dunk was a BIG part of my childhood. :)) Every afternoon after class my siblings and I would come home to chicken noodles, crackers, and the Shohoku team. A lot of memories about calling people 'Gori'. :)) And this afternoon I came across a post about that anime.

I LEARNED IMPORTANT LIFE LESSONS FROM IT.

1) Wisdom from the lovable and jolly grandfather figure is something you'd want to hold on to.

2) That mysterious guy is an important ingredient of every story.

3)  The power of motivatioooon! Sakuragi learned basketball (and became imba at that) for Haruko.

4) Guys cry, too.

5) Red hair is not for everyone.

Oh, and Kogure was my favorite! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Soooo. I have an 8am class but here I am, writing. a blog entry. which probably won't make sense again. :/

a) TIME Magazine. I can't believe I actually enjoy reading it these days. @-)

It's about five transvestite OFWs in Israel during the time of the intefada (Palestinian uprising). They work as caregivers during the day and as showgirls come nighttime. So, aside from the usual OFW scares of annoying bosses and deportation, they also live in fear of discrimination against homosexuals in their community.

Tickets are at 600pesos though. :( The show runs 'til December. That means I have 3 months left to scrimp and save. :P

I got home at 10pm. The Math depex ended at 8. Four words.

IT. WAS. SO. COLDDDDDDDDD. :|

If I knew that we'd take our test in that state I would've invited penguins. Hay.

Yesterday Sir Gio, Third, and I were the last people to leave Tutorlink. We had Third's initiation haha. =)) It's that time in a tutee's life when Sir orders two big Shakey's pizzas and a box of chicken and mojos, all for a grade of 90% in the upcoming exam (believe me, it's not an easy bargain when the exam's in math). IT WAS FUN. :))))

I dunno if I have anything else to do. I have been trying to mix the perfect blue-green for this palette, hoping to get an unnamed color, but to no avail. :( JUSTIN! Para sa iyo ito. :)))
